Sunday, March 26, 2006DexOnline Sites Need Pay-Per-Click Help
I did a search on Google for "car maintenance" and Google AdSense displayed the following site second, in a list of eight sites.
Now, I'm no genius when it comes to pay-per-click strategies, but if my client's services are restricted to a region as small as the town of Boise, Idaho, I would definitely not recommend that they pay good money to display in AdSense for a term so broad as "car maintenance". Not only that, but there are two other regionally restricted "car maintenance" sites listed in the same AdSense results. All of the sites only have three pages of content each, including the "Home" and "Contact" page, and all three were apparently "created" by DexOnline. Whatever amount these guys are paying for pay-per-click services, is way to much. Friday, March 17, 2006Snakes on a plane

Friday, March 03, 2006Free Version of CodeRush
Check out CodeRush. It is a VS 2005 Add-In to the 10th power. It seems to be very powerful and could save you a lot of time coding. They offer a free evaluation version. Check out these videos to see CodeRush in action. It is pretty impressive. I just started using it yesterday based on recommendations from other developers, and I can see a lot of benefits already.
A negative I have noticed is that my IDE takes longer than normal to load, but I think it is worth the sacrifice. Wednesday, March 01, 2006First Article Published on Code Project
